Like many up and coming radio presenters I started my radio career in hospital radio within the 2 years of being at my local hospital radio I went on to be nominated at the national HBA (Hospital Broadcasting Association) awards, not once but twice! The first time was for Best New Comer and the second was for Best Male Presenter. At the end of my time on Hospital Radio Lynn I moved to a new local online radio station called Fen Radio.  I snapped up the opportunity to be a part of a new upcoming local radio station and I started to present Tuesday night’s Heroes of The Zer00’s. The Golden Years is a show where i take a year from the 1960's to the present, and do a show with music only released in the selected year. Along the way i take a look back at what happened in the selected year in aspects such as Sport, Entertainment, Transport, Royalty etc

Arthur Hartrick.

Show: The Virtual Jukebox
Day & Times : Monday 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Thoughts and memories to our dearest friend, presenter and colleague. Arthur Hartrick.
April 2020

Arthur was a gentleman who had a passion for helping others, he gave up his time as a key volunteer for the Moseley Lions Club who help towns and villages around the world when natural disasters strike. He cared about his community and the people within it. You will all know Arthur from his Monday daytime Radio show (Arthur's Jukebox) between 2 and 4. We first met Arthur on South Birmingham Radio and it was clear that his passion was presenting his show. After a couple of years Arthur became the co-director of Brumside Community Radio based in the heart of Kings Heath. This was a position that he worked so hard on executing, he lead with passion, drive and loyalty to all of us. It is thanks to his selflessness, determination, hard work and passion that we are here doing what we love and I cannot express how this has affected us here at the station.

Lastly, we pass on our deepest condolences to his family and his friends. R.I.P Arthur, you will be missed greatly

We can not let the memories of this fantastic Brumside Radio presenter leave the Netwaves.
So from May 2020 Arthur's show will still be broadcast through the wonders of modern technology.
We hope this serves as a reminder of one of Brumside Radio's loved presenters.

Johnny J.

Show: The Big Rock Show
Day & Times : Friday 8.00pm - 12.00am

The BIG ROCK is hosted by Johnny J, who has DJ’d on 96.7 WFSN and on classic hits formatted Mix 96.7 WWUC both in Union City, PA. As a young child and teenager in the 70s & 80s, he grew up listening to legendary Erie radio stations K104 & WJET. “These stations moulded what I thought radio was supposed to be and sound like.” His presentation is to talk to the listener, not at them and not over them. “I’m a real person, not a character that is animated or obnoxious. I don’t yell and scream.” Johnny’s style is light-hearted, enjoyable and a bit humorous.

Bob Eberth.

Show: The Jupiter Hollow Radio Show
Day & Times : Thursday 8.00pm - 10.00pm & Saturday 10.00am - 12.00pm (RPT)

The Jupiter Hollow Radio Show is your weekly excursion into the magical realm of Jupiter Hollow. Two hours of music aimed to entertain people of all ages. You can expect each week selections from my "MOLDY OLDIE JUKEBOX", my "BEFORE & AFTER" an original song and an interesting cover, my "NEW CUT" of the week a piece of music that may not fit into my usual show format, my "MY WEIRD & WONDERFUL" usually a fun interesting or novelty song, and also my "VINYL CUT". There is also a "FEATURED ARTIST" and some of the best "INDEPENDENT" & "ALTERNATIVE" music out there. Don't expect to hear the Same-o Same-o music you can hear just about anywhere else. The Jupiter Hollow Show, aka (Weekends From Jupiter Hollow) has been in continuous production now for around 15 years, with little to no change in its format. Each show takes place in a different magical location. My show philosophy is simple, find & play good music, not music that you can hear any day of the week. I only pick my music by listening and not referring to music charts or what may be popular or trending. I hope you'll give the show a chance, I think you may like it.

Its a ramble down memory lane, infused with fabulous blues artists. It's a nostalgic trip, a walk on the beach with a transistor radio playing your favourite song. A drive up the motorway with the roof down blasting your favourite rock song. It's the freedom to enjoy any music that makes you happy, for me it's always blues or gospel.

Exploring Mind and Body is a Radio Talk show that focuses on Natural and Holistic Health. We’re always looking for new and interesting guests and topics for the show. Some of the past guests include: Meals that Health with Julie Daniluk Peaceful Warrior with Dan Millman Get Active with Tony Horton Dr. Davis Author of Wheat Belly Strike Sugar with Tosca Reno Blueprint with Mark Sisson

Drew traveled the world as a professional athlete coming from Canada, through the US, and overseas into Australia and Germany following his dreams and passion for baseball. He quickly became the ‘go to’ guy regarding fitness and nutrition as he continually experimented on his own body to find out what foods would help recover quicker or build muscle more efficiently, how to exercise that would help him jump higher, run faster and help him stand out on the field. He soon found out stress played a vital role in what he was putting both in and on his body, and how by reducing stress through a plant based diet and avoiding toxins both on and off the field, he could improve as an athlete and stand out from the competition. Drew is now passionate about helping others learn how they can improve their own health by sharing others’ personal stories and expert opinions.

Drew Taddia is the Author of Detoxify Yourself, Radio Host of Exploring Mind and Body and creator of his own Plant Based Protein Supplement called Complete Truth Protein. He also runs an online fitness and nutrition membership at www.trueformlife.com
